Samantha (Sam) Leggett, RN (she/her) is a UK registered nurse with over 28-years of experience serving women, children and families across the globe, a birthkeeper, a postpartum midwife working from the core principles of the Innate Traditions philosophy and a teacher with the Institute for the Study of Birth, Breath and Death.
Sam is the mother of 3 beautiful daughters and has also personally known the guilt, shame and loneliness of pregnancy loss and unexplained infertility. Her work is centered around supporting girls and women through rites of passage and life transitions, in connecting to their intuition and inner knowing, creating community, and strengthening support networks. She loves to integrate ritual and ceremony into many aspects of her life and work.
Sam’s vision is that in taking radical self-responsibility, in challenging the common narrative, in being part of a global community of women who are reclaiming holistic wellness, and in reimagining and modeling these connections and communities in the modern world, we can create palpable change and our houses of tomorrow will be created with stronger and healthier foundations. Cycles of poverty, abuse, disempowerment, disenfranchisement and ill health will have much weaker foundations and will be harder to perpetuate.
*The above offerings are distinct from the 15-hour, self-guided, pre-recorded Holding Space for Pregnancy Loss online course. Learn more about that course here.

She enjoys exploring the outdoors with Finlay’s younger brothers, Phalen and Ren, and, when time allows, drinking a quiet cup of tea. Learn more here.
