We all have moments of knowing before we can explain why: a feeling in the body, a dream that lingers, a quiet clarity that arrives in stillness. What happens when we don’t dismiss these signals? Or to overthink them until they fade?

What happens when we strengthen our intuition and insight?

In this four-part course, we learn that intuition as a skill that grows stronger with practice.

Drawing upon neuroscientist Joel Pearson’s research on intuition, which shows that intuition can be learned, we will explore how to strengthen intuition and insight in three main ways.

The Body : Learning to notice intuitive signals in the body, and telling them apart from fear, habit, and wishful thinking. We’ll draw on the latest research of interoception, our ability to sense what is happening inside the body, and its connection to intuition and emotional awareness.

Dreams: Working with dreams as living images rather than puzzles to decode, and listening for the insight they carry. We’ll draw on the work of dream researchers who explore how dreams make new connections and can be a source of creativity and personal insight.

Silence: Exploring what arises when we sit in meditative stillness, and how silence makes room for clear seeing. We’ll draw on the research of neuroscientists John Kounios and Mark Beeman, authors of “The Eureka Factor” who study what happens in the brain in the moments before an “aha” arrives.

Integration: Bringing body, dreams, and silence together into a personal practice of intuitive living that continues long after the course ends.

Sessions meet every other week, leaving time to practice and reflect between gatherings. No experience is needed, only curiosity and a willingness to listen inward.
